Standards Most Cited in Fatal-Accident Inspections

When OSHA investigates a workplace death, it inspects the site and issues citations. These are the safety standards cited most often in those fatal-accident inspections. A citation here means the standard was violated at a worksite where a worker died — a strong signal of which hazards are most associated with workplace deaths.
